Since January 2000 I've been operating my online business along with my 'day job' of running an intensive livestock farm. My interest in quality natural health for both animals and family goes back many years. 

Having experienced adverse reactions over the years to chemicals in cosmetics and skincare products I began reading labels more closely in the early nineties. This led me to trying endless so called 'natural' personal care products which mostly were ineffective, didn't list all the ingredients and/or grew mould! 

When genuine certified organic skin care products (certified by world recognized certifying bodies) emerged in 2003 I began using these - no allergic reactions!

How I found Doctor Wendy's 100% botanical skin care.

In August 2009 my elderly mum, in residential care, was suffering very much from skin irritations ie. itchy rashes and spots. After expressing my concerns to her carers the twice daily appplications of a paraffin based skin product were stopped. She was tested for scabies - negative. Medics instructed nothing to be used on her skin for one week. 

During this week I had contact with Dr Wendy about her New Zealand made safe botanical products.

After one week mum's skin was improving. I was given the go-ahead to provide the botanical moisturiser (without synthetic chemicals) I had previously suggested. 

A year later mum's fragile, thin and sensitive skin remains totally free of irritations and every time I visit her the caregivers remark on her healthy looking skin. It is so noticeable!

To me, it is unbelievable that so called moisturisers using petroleum based ingredients plus other synthetic ingredients (eg Sodium lauryl sulfate - SLS) continue to be prescribed for eczema and skin problems of the elderly. (Survey says around 90% of GP's prescribe aqueous cream to patients.)

After personally trialling Dr Wendy's products I had no hesitation when asked to 'spread the word' about the skin and health benefits of using these authentic 100% botanical products.
